Top 5 Android Apps May 2017

There have been quite a few applications dropped so far this month that are certainly worth taking a look at, whether you play games, love to exercise, run a small business, love music, or all of the above, we’ve rounded up a list of apps that fit into all of these categories in one way or another. Apps are something most people with smartphones tend to use on a daily basis, so it’s always nice to see what’s new and fresh that could make our user experience with smartphones better.

If you’re someone who runs a small business that has to do with online publishing, you may already use Google’s DoubleClick service. if that’s the case, then you’ll want to download and install their new app tailored for this service. You can view important details at a glance from the dashboard and access a range of other options.

If you’re tired of the gym and all the busy chaos and high prices for memberships that sometimes comes along with it, you should check out Runtastic Results Training. The app is aimed at getting you into shape using bodyweight training techniques to see results in as soon as 12 weeks. It does cost $50 for the full 12-week program experience, but that’s much less than you’ll pay for three months worth of gym memberships at most gyms, plus you can workout from the comfort of your own home with this app.

If you’re going to be playing Star Wars Battlefront on any platform, installing the companion app is a good idea as it can help enhance the experience as well as you give information and stats on your characters when not actually in the game. It also has a built-in mini-game called Base Command which can earn you items that are usable in the full Battlefront game.

This is really only useful to those who have HTC devices, and if you fit into that category then you can now get the HTC camera app from the HTC One A9. The one caveat is that you need Android 6.0 marshmallow to run it, and currently this list is very limited. It features things like Pro camera mode that has support for RAW photos, so if you have an HTC device and can install it, it might be worth checking out.

If you or someone in your family owns the all-new Samsung Galaxy View tablet, this app is just for you. It’s basically a bulletin board for sharing the best and most memorable photos on the giant Galaxy View screen. Users can be added to the “family square” and then push photos to the bulletin board to keep family connected with all the moments that are captured from multiple devices.
