Top 5 Best Apps to Monitor your Android Phone or Tablet

Many of you may not be super technical when it comes to your phone. But others do want to see what frequencies the device is running at, as well as what specs it has. And there are a ton of apps out there that can do that. Some are nice looking apps, and others are not so much. Let’s get on with the list.

CPU-Z is basically just there to show what’s running your phone. As in the processor, RAM, and other stuff. With the app, you can check the SoC (System On Chip) name, architecture, clock speed for each core ; System information : device brand & model, screen resolution, RAM, storage.; Battery information : level, status, temperature ; Sensors.

This is a pretty simple app, and the design hasn’t been updated in quite a while. But it basically just shows you the speed at which the processor is running at. Including deep sleep. That’s literally about all we have in this app, actually.

System Monitor is one of my favorite apps here. It’s a great looking app that allows you to check the frequency at which the processor is running at, what apps are hogging RAM, and a ton of other things. If you’re looking for the complete package, System Monitor is the one to get.

With System Monitor you can manage tasks, apps, and much more. You’ll enjoy features like System Resources – displays general information about the system. Allow you to configure the options for action by clicking on the widget (configurable in the options program). Available actions for a widget: Clean up the memory by pressing a widget, Launch System monitor, Update the content of the widget, CPU Monitor – displays a graph of the current CPU load. Memory monitor – displays a graph of memory usage. Battery monitor – displays a graph of battery usage.

This app literally just tells you what CPU you’re running, how much RAM and what device it is. That’s about all it does. So it is a pretty small app, which is expected.
