With July nearly over, it’s time to put together a list of the top best games to launch this month. There were quite a few new games which released over the last few weeks so it was hard to dismiss a few, but we’ve narrowed it down to what we feel are the best new games which players will find enjoyable.
This is an endless runner, so nothing spectacularly special about that point, but the interesting Ninja theme with the stylish artwork visuals and the fun elements of the boosts and attacks you use during the game makes it quite fun and worthy of a spot.
Like many games in the Warhammer series, there’s a bit of role playing involved here but you’ll also be engaging in strategic battles with tactical team-based combat and attacks. Combat is also card driven and you’ll be able to collect various cards throughout the game to add to your arsenal. If single player campaigns aren’t as much your thing, there’s some PvP gameplay too.
This is a free ad-supported version of Crescent Moon’s popular Tower Defense game. With pretty visuals and tons of strategic gameplay and classical tower defense style elements, it’ll be hard for anyone who enjoys fun not to love this title.
If you like arcade games, 8 infinity is as interesting as it is addictive. You’ll likely spend countless hours trying to go as far as you can while you attempt to navigate the little silver ball around the 8 symbols. Once you reach a certain number of pass throughs you’ll have to hit the correct color coded button to move the ball left or right to keep going. Hit the wrong button and you start over. It’s simple to learn but gets more challenging than you think.
Gameplay is a mix of board game type movements and story driven cinematics almost like comic story boards. Each quest you take on will start you off with the option of moving a certain number of spaces on the board. Some board spots will house battles and others will carry either currency or experience and boosts or items. Landing on these places allows you to either gain stuff or engage in battle. Battles have you selecting different colored ki orbs to place your attacks against your foes, and after each set of attacks you’ll get to watch the battle unfold. It’s pretty neat if you’re a Dragon Ball Z fan.
